Hey everyone, it’s Adam DeGraide here.
It’s been a long time since I chatted with you last, been really trying to figure out the right time to do this video and I think it’s a pretty good time to do it, you know, I wanted to let everyone know that you are loved. And you have a purpose.
So it’s been 52 weeks, I’ve been doing the micro motivations and the one thing that keeps coming back to me over and over and over again, is the fact that I am loved, and that I have a purpose. And if you think about all the things that have happened in 2020 Already, all the craziness that has happened.
The fact that you know we’re all wearing face masks now out on public, or we’ve been self isolated or lonely or not been able to see our friends and family oh we’ve lost friends and family, or, you know, we’ve known people that have been sick and have not been, ah, you know, have not done well with this virus. It just really brought me back to the purpose of life and meaning. And it really comes back to one thing, that I was born for a reason.
You were born for a reason you were born to have a purpose in your life, to fulfill that purpose, and the more I continue to try to search in my own life, things that I think are important, that aren’t really lasting, it leaves an emptiness inside, because I’m not really doing or saying, or being who I was born to be. And I think all of us have this tendency in the world around us today to recognize that there is more to life than what we see around us right I mean if you’re not healthy, nothing else really matters right well, if you’re lonely, and loneliness by the way can happen even when you’re surrounded by people.
Because if we’re not connected with God, if we’re not feeling that connection, vertically, it’s very difficult to have good relationships horizontally. And that comes back to knowing that you are loved. You see, Jesus came to the earth 1000s of years ago, died on a cross, to forgive our sins and to connect us again once again with the Father. And that is the purpose of our lives to be reconnected to the one who made us. And only Jesus can do that. And by the fact that God sent His only Son, down to earth to live inside of us, he sent the Holy Spirit after Jesus died and rose from the dead, the Holy Spirit came into our lives; So we wouldn’t be lonely, and we would know that we are loved and that we have a purpose and God demonstrated His love for us by sending His only begotten Son to die on the Cross, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life and that’s what it’s all about.
It’s all about the fact that you are loved.
I am loved, we have a purpose beyond belief, as I look at the ocean behind me. as you guys know I love the ocean. I can’t help myself. I’m out here again in Newport Beach, California. I’m just reminded of the water behind me and how we’ve been washed anew by the blood of Christ to forgive us of our sins, and to give us a new life.
So if you’re lonely, if you’ve been wondering do you have a purpose, is there meaning in your life, are the things that are more important than what you’ve been doing.
If you felt this loneliness inside of you; just ask Jesus for forgiveness. Ask him to come into your life. Ask him to make you whole, ask him to give you a second chance, a third chance, a fourth chance or whatever the case maybe, he wants to do that, because you are loved and you have purpose, and he wants you to know what that is.
This is Adam DeGraide with another micro motivation. Remember if you can’t make your point in under four minutes, you might not have one to make, everyone have a great night.
