Good morning everyone, it’s Adam DeGraide here with another micro motivation.
I hope everyone’s staying safe, and healthy. Things have been crazy. I’ve been traveling a ton recently. And ah sorry for the delay in getting this video out, but it’s one that I think you’re going to enjoy.
So I was talking to my dad last week and he said something really interesting. We were discussing different ways we think and I said something, I said, man, “I’m just so weird” and my dad said, you know Adam, don’t forget, there’s always someone weirder than you. And I said wow that’s really cool and it’s pretty funny too
And it got me thinking about a lot of things in life about how there’s always somebody wealthier. There’s always somebody stronger than you. There’s always somebody sicker than you.
There’s always somebody that’s, you know, doing better at certain things and doing worse at certain things than you.
You see we’re not alone in this world, we’re all going through the same things and what’s interesting about the way God has created us and shaped us, is that we are designed to strive for better, but also to bring people behind us up with us.
So as my dad said, you know, don’t forget there’s people that is weirder than you, I started thinking about the fact that I, am in a place my life, I have to be looking for someone that can mentor me, help me grow forward, but at the same time, I can reach behind and grab somebody who’s a little bit further back and, bring them along with me.
You see we’re all in this crazy world together. And at the end of the day, it’s a healthy balance if you think about even breathing. You inhale in, you exhale out, in and out, it’s the receiving from God and then the breathing out to the rest of the world.
You see, God’s given us all gifts and talents that we can share with others, and he’s given other people gifts and talents that we can learn from.
So when I started to realize this, I also thought about the Trinity in and of itself, the Godhead.
Think about it, the Father sent the Son, the Son, once he was rising from the dead , said I must leave, and he sent the Spirit of God onto the earth.
And then the Spirit of God reveals Jesus, and Jesus brings us to the Father. And it’s an amazing example of the Godhead and how God’s loving kindness for us that the father said the son, The sons said the Spirit, the Spirit reveals Jesus. Jesus brings us to the Father.
And then likewise on this earth, we can make a huge difference in people’s lives, by finding someone who’s a little bit higher than us here, just a little bit, doing a little bit better here and at the same time reaching down behind us to grab those that we can bring along and bring up with us, that’s the beautiful part about life.
Remember there’s always someone weirder than you. There’s always someone better than you. There’s always somebody that needs your help too and if we all remember this as the human race. We cannot help but be better people, by finding those to make us better, but helping those that we can bring to bring up to our level and if that continual cycle continues to happen. There’s a healthy breathing, inhaling and exhaling of life that makes all the difference in the world.
I hope you enjoyed this video. Remember it’s Adam DeGraide.
If you can’t make your point in under four minutes, you might not have one to make.
Everyone have a great day and be blessed.
Thanks for listening.
