Hey everyone it’s Adam DeGraide here with another micro motivation, on a SeaDoo which is in and of itself a miracle today.
You know, you have these days. Some days, you wake up with all these great plans and your someday turns into ain’t gonna happen today it’s been that kind of week.
So my wife and I went on a little vacation. I know those of you watching this video are gonna say, Hey, Adam. These are a bunch of first world problems and I get it, you know, some guy with beans on a SeaDoos complaining about his life.
But That’s not what this video is intending to do. But we started to come down here to St Pete in Florida.
On the way down our trailer blew a tire, ran on the side of the road, had to call an emergency tow person, that should have been the very first sign that I probably shouldn’t have brought the SeaDoos down here. But anyway, so the tire blows we get that fixed finally get home, get the SeaDoos out. Have a nice night which is great, following morning wake up, and one of our SeaDoos, half of it is trapped underneath the dock, had to wait like nine hours for the low tide to come in, finally was able to get it out, went out and had a great day.
So, you know, we had a difficult time putting these things on the dock you know and so last night we finally got ‘em up on the dock, we felt it was great, everything was amazing. We’re looking forward to taking the kids out today out of the water. We wake up this morning at 6:30. My son comes running in. And he goes,
Dad, you’re not going to believe it!
“Moms outside. The SeaDoo’s is under the dock.”
I said what do, you what do you mean it’s under the dock.
“It’s under the dock”
So I go outside, sure enough, I’m looking and the SeaDoos is buried underneath the dock in the high
The tide is rising and it’s getting jammed up underneath the dock and it’s just cracking them.
It’s unbelievable, it’s breaking the dock, nightmare!
So, I tried to get into the water, trying to move it, can’t do it, you can’t you know what, what I realized is, you can’t fight against the forces of nature. Gods nature is way too strong for mankind.
I call the tow company. I had cuts all over my arms.
You know, they show up, they can’t do anything, they’re going to saw the thing off and it’s even too late to even saw the thing off, we have to wait again till five o’clock.
Finally, five o’clock rolls around, we’re able to drag the thing out from underneath.
We put the key in and it starts, which was amazing and I’m actually on the unit by the way, I’m actually on the unit that had the problem. Well here’s the craziest thing.
The red one, which had no problems. Next to it, I go to put the key in it, and it says key error.
So now, the red key is not working for the red one which was it had no problems in the dock, won’t start.
The tow guy starts laughing. Everything is going wrong, you know, someday, it’s just gonna be ain’t gonna be today.
And so I’m now literally on the yellow one driving it back to put it on the trailer, and the red SeaDoo is being towed by them to the boat ramp to put it on, and it just remind me that the rain falls on the good and bad, and the question is, Who am I and his story, good or bad, sometimes both.
But at the end of the day man, if things aren’t going the way you planned. We just laughed our butts off because you can’t hose broke, I mean you name it, everything went wrong today.
But you know what, I’m alive. As of right now, and my family’s healthy. And, you know, the sun is shining and people watching this video probably have more problems than me, remember sometimes today, just ain’t today, and it’s okay.
Thanks for watching everyone.
Have a great day.
