Hey everyone, Adam DeGraide here with another micro motivation.
If you missed last week’s episode, I highly recommend that you go back and check it out.
It was entitled “Where is our toilet paper?”
With everything going on with COVID-19 whoever would have thought that we would use words like COVID-19, just 4-5-6-7-8 weeks ago, it’s crazy when you think about how fast things have moved.
It’s a really good video, it had some great comments on it as well too. And I talked about where our treasurer is, you know where really should be so check it out. I think you’re gonna enjoy it.
My business partner and one of my dearest friends Joe Ammeraal who’s actually the Chief Operating Officer of Krystal Clear; the company that I have the pleasure of owning and being the founder of along with Tim Sawyer, Joe Amaral, Krystle my wife, Tommy Couture. There’s a few other owners as well too. It’s interesting, he said something very fascinating as you know this is a very difficult time for businesses, a very difficult time for all of us, he said you know Adam, “there’s never a bad time to make a good decision.” And I was like wow man, that’s actually pretty interesting to think about.
There’s never a bad time to make a good decision.
So you think about all of us being stuck at home right now in a lot of ways or we’re whether we’re being self required to do that, or our cities are stay at home orders.
Either way, these opportunities we have right now, can really shape our future.
So as a business, for example, our company is going through almost like a spring cleaning type of thing. We’re looking at areas of our business that we haven’t looked at in a really long time. And we’re trying to make good decisions because there’s never a bad time to do them. It’s not easy decisions to be made but they actually can be very positive in the future.
There’s also a lot of hope coming out hopefully with this bill being passed shortly but you know we don’t know and we’re not, I’m not a government official. I have no idea.
I know a lot about the details but could actually be a very big thing for all of us that are small business owners as well as the individual as well.
But the other thing is with all of our downtime in our own lives. Let’s take inventory in our own lives, you know, because there’s never a bad time to make a decision. Let’s look around and see you know, am I eating as healthy as I can be, am I reading enough, am I loving my family and friends enough, am I staying in conversations and communications enough with people.
This is really important because right now, this downtime that we have as businesses and this downtime that we have as individuals, can lead to very positive things in the future as long as we’re willing to make the tough and good decisions.
And I think this is very, very important for us as people in businesses. It’s never a bad time to make a good decision. So what decisions am I making? What decisions are you going to make for your own life? You know, this is a chance to exercise more, reach out to people you haven’t talked to in a long time, make the best use of this time and if things need to change and it’s a tough time. Remember, there’s never a bad time to make good decisions.
Thank you so much.
