You can’t hit a ball, you can’t see I will watch it. Everyone it’s Adam DeGraide. Number 11 at Sandpiper, right here in Santa Barbara, California, it’s beautiful, unbelievably beautiful. I actually don’t think it’s in Santa Barbara but it’s in Santa Barbara County area. This is the actual hole all the way down to the beach. And it’s a principle that I’ve been sharing with my wife and I tell myself every time I get up the swing, and hopefully I can show it to you right now. You cannot hit a ball, you cannot see.
Gotta keep your head down, swing smooth. And let the ball and the club do its job. Here we go. Right in the trap, exactly what I was trying to teach you. Great job.
As you guys are aware, I fully kept my head down. I swung swaying. I swung smooth, head down. And life sometimes put you in the same trap. But the key is you can’t give up. Just because you took the best shot you had and it wasn’t the right one doesn’t mean you should quit.
Much like my buddy Bob [UNCLEAR] who just won a Wally which means that he won first place and funny car NHRA in Bristol, Tennessee, and it’s been a seven year drought. But every year he gets up his crew gets better. They kept working. And yesterday they won which was amazing. And that’s exactly what I’m about to do right now is recover on this hole out of the sand. Right there. Follow me and watch me put it in.
Head down, swinging smooth.
Never give up. Never surrender. And remember, just because you end up in the sand trap doesn’t mean you can’t par the hole.
