Whistling sound
Oh, I had no idea you were filming me.
[sounds of laughter]
Speaker 1:
Hey everyone, it’s Adam DeGraide here with another micro motivation, all the way up here at Big Bear Lake in California look around Ryan stand up with me.
Ryan, by the way is my camera guy today.
Ryan, thank you so much.
You’re welcome, You’re welcome buddy.
Ryan is a fantastic guy,
Look out over the rise and you see beautiful mountains; you got boats coming in. And as you can tell, I am doing something that I haven’t done since I was 12 years old. And I realized why.
Because (A) I’m not very good at it and (B) Nothing really happens.
Now many fishermen who are watching this video are probably saying, that’s not true. That happens if you know what you’re doing, I actually don’t know what I’m doing.
And one of the things that you know my brother-in-law said today is fishing is like life.
And he said, what was it again Ryan, he said it was so profound
Speaker 2:
well you know you got to cast the line out.
You gotta cast the line out
In order to catch it.
Speaker 1:
You gotta cast it in order to catch it
And if you don’t catch it, you got to be patient, and then you get to try again, and it’s a lot like that in life, right,
Speaker 2
That’s right
Just because we try something the first time we throw our net out and the world says no to us. That doesn’t mean that our Yes, isn’t coming
So, a couple of things I also want the viewers to see I’m gonna put this down for a second
hopefully there’s no fish that’s gonna come, follow me Ryan
back here we’ve got Hunter,
Hunter, say
[Hunter responding]
This is my other brother-in-law DJ.
[DJ Responding]
Hello,
Javon,
Javon speaking [ what’s up ] who’s hanging out here,
This is my little man Anthem
Anthem say hi to the camera.
[Anthem responding]
Hi
Speaker 1
Anthem is a big star in a frequent guest appearance here on micro motivations here with Adam DeGraide. And I want to also go back to the point of no’s in life. They happen all the time, all the time, every one of us gets a no. We have a vision, we have a plan, we want to go out and catch a fish we throw it out there and nothing happens.
Most people quit at that point in time, however, the smart ones say my yes is coming.
I actually heard a preacher say that the other day, your yes is coming. Just because you’ve had 25 no’s in the last 25 times you just that much closer to your Yes, and it’s like me with fishing. I’m going to magically pull a fish out of the water right now and if you believe that, I’ve got another fish story to tell you.
[Sounds of laughter]
Anyway guys, don’t forget, this is Adam DeGraide make sure you like it, share it. Link it, tweet it, have fun with it.
And remember, if you can’t make your point in under four minutes, you might not have a point to make.
Join me next week, you never know where I’m going to be.
thank you so much for tuning in. Have a great day everyone.
Thought I’d come back, give you guys a little ride here with Captain Anthem,
Hey buddy good job
little man turned his no into a yes, he begged Ryan, over and over again. Can I please ride the boat?
Ryan said no, no, no, and finally. His yes came!
